as I approach the almost one year mark since launching ‘the healthy ginger’ I can’t help but feel so fortunate to be able to follow my “bliss”.

I know that we may not all feel this absolute compassion towards our jobs…but I hope that you will find bliss in other aspects of your life!

bliss will represent different things to different people but I hope you are able to find more bliss in the people you surround yourself with or simply in how you choose to spend your free time.

I challenge you to find ways to bring more bliss into your world today, tomorrow and always!

this weeks love(s)

I can hardly contain myself. I am just about to hit the road to meet up with some fabulous ladies as we celebrate one of my best girlfriends bachelorette weekends! I can’t say exactly where we will be going as it is still a surprise…but I am so pumped to spend some quality time with some of the most amazing women in my life!

I’m also feeling a lot of love for some other lovely things that rocked my world this week…

monday prenatal yoga. still madly in love with hip opening + side oblique poses. it absolutely helps to eliminate a few of the aches + pains I was beginning to experience.

great read. this is an amazing book that I am almost finished. so much information + research is presented in this book that is absolutely eye opening.

my continued love affair with my new vitamix. juices + smoothies to keep me and the babe healthy, energized + glowing.

pregnant woman’s coffee. this is my version of coffee – Teecino. it is a caffeine free herbal coffee. okay, it doesn’t taste exactly like coffee, but it is a very nice alternative. you should be able to find it at your local health food store.

weekly {pregnancy friendly} back workout. I have started to focus a bit more on my back workouts as I think about the amount of lifting that I will be doing once the babe arrives. I also hope to improve my overall pregnancy posture so I can continue to carry the additional weight with ease.

spa day of bliss. I was seriously spoiled on wednesday when I used the spa day my husband got me for my birthday. WOWEE – Mirbeau spa rocks! I had a mani, pedi, facial + pregnancy massage as well as a 3 course lunch. it was divine + I left there feeling healthy + glowing.


 I hope your weekend is also filled with lots of quality time with those that you love the most!
